Our courses are developed and delivered by Healthcare professionals such as Pharmacists with direct and relevant experience in the sector. The courses are College of Pharmacy Practice (CPP) accredited- a body setup by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain which provides ongoing professional education and development.
The courses meet the requirements for Skills for Care medication knowledge sets together with the National Minimum Standards in England, Scotland and Wales. All our materials are designed to complement current guidance issued by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), the Scottish Commission for Regulation of Care (SCRC), and Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW).
The progress of learners taking online courses can be tracked through our online web servers which provide powerful auditing and reporting functionality such as when a course was taken and passed, together with the results. Managers can login to our unique web based database and demonstrate current staff training levels or can run sophisticated reports for courses taken online on diverse regional or local data.
Our face to face courses are completely flexible with national coverage- we can provide training at your premises when it is convenient to you.
Our dedicated focus on the issues pertinent to those facing care homes in today’s regulatory and business environment means that we can deliver training which meets the objectives of Care Home Managers and owners, whilst ensuring an enjoyable and relevant training event for the delegates is delivered.
We can also provide Care Homes with invaluable specialist consultancy services such as policy writing and validation and audits to help with regulator inspections, ensuring adherence to the law and Care Standards.
We continually develop our courses based on feedback from the sector- for example we will be shortly releasing our “Assessing Competency in Medication handling” course specifically aimed at assisting care home managers in developing the skills required to ensure their staff are competent in that area. |
