We are a dynamic, customer focused company that offers accredited professional training encompassing all aspects of the skill set required by carers to provide a comprehensive and considerate service for people in care establishments.
Our training courses are firmly focused around imparting and strengthening the expertise needed by carers in their duty of care and are delivered by experienced health care specialists such as clinical pharmacists.
Accredited Training
Our College of Pharmacy Practice (CPP) accredited training courses are aligned with the competencies of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) and fully comply with the requirements of the new Essential Standards (England and Wales) and in Scotland to the National Care Standards (NCS) as stipulated by the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001, and as enforced by the Care Quality Commission in England (CQC), The Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales (CSIW) and The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care (SCRC). The accredited training we provide also meets the Skills for Care Knowledge Set on Medication.
Reporting and Auditing
Our online courses provide valuable information for auditing purposes - managers can login to our unique web based database and demonstrate current staff training levels. Managers can run sophisticated reports for courses taken online on diverse regional or local data.
Flexible National Coverage
We recognise the logistical difficulty in scheduling carers for training, so our courses are very flexible - we can arrange to provide training at your premises, even on weekends, which allows you to be more adaptable with your staff rotas.
Elearning
Not everyone learns at the same pace, so our courses are available online over the internet as well. This gives you the ability to access the courses 24/7. Once modules have been covered, the delegate will be assessed using an online examination in order to test that knowledge; and will receive a ceftificate of completion upon the succesful completion of the exam. Loan laptops are available on request, subject to conditions and availability, to aid users in learning in the comfort of their own home.
Consultancy
We can also offer specialist services such as policy writing and validation and audits to help with regulator inspections, ensuring adherence to the law and Care Standards.
